Cardamom is a spice made from the seeds of plant Elettaria cardamomum belongs to family Zingiberaceae. Cardamom is native to India, Nepal, Pakistan and Bhutan. Cardamom is small seed pods. It is triangular, spindle shaped with thin papery outer shell. The cardamom pod is green in colour.
